The Lenawee ISD Board of Education unanimously appointed Kathryn Mohr (Britton Deerfield) to fill an open seat filled at their regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, May 6th. The vacancy was created following the death of Lenawee ISD Board of Education Treasurer Dave Pray earlier this spring.
Last week, Lenawee ISD’s Board of Education Treasurer, David Pray, passed away, leaving an unfilled position on the Board. According to the Revised School Code, MCL 380.614, “A vacancy shall be filled by the remaining members of the intermediate school board until the next biennial election at which time the vacancy shall be filled for the balance of the unexpired term.”
It is with great sadness that Lenawee ISD announces the loss of David Pray, a cherished member of our Board of Education. Mr. Pray, who passed away on April 18, 2024, was a champion for public education, having served on the Lenawee ISD Board since 2016.
This morning, February 27, 2024, a Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD) staff member located a threat in a restroom at the LISD TECH Center.
Five LISD TECH Center students in the Automotive Services Technology (AST) program recently received the Gary Bettis Tool Box Grant. The grants were presented by the Lenawee County Education Foundation (LCEF).
