SANDBOX PARTY CONVENTION GAINS SUPPORT
Detroit Free Press columnist supports Sandbox Party Convention. Rochelle Riley plans to attend the August 26 Sandbox Party Convention at the Breslin Student Events Center from 1-4pm.Riley is an award-winning columnist and author of the new book, "Raising a Parent--Lessons My Daughter Taught Me While We Grew Up Together,".
In her Sunday, July 18 column, Riley said, "Children's advocates across the state have joined forces to create the Sandbox Party, a nonpartisan, nonpolitical organization that wants to force candidates to focus on a child's first 1,000 days of life, the time period most vital to development and future success."
